July is a time when
many of us go on vacation to recharge our batteries and get ready to take on the
second half of the year. Once we get going again is a good time to be reminded
of some basic elements of powerful (and not so powerful) networking.
Many of you have been
kind enough to ask me questions about getting better results when you network.
If you’ve been reading this newsletter you’ve read about selling vs.
networking, getting rid of ‘nice to meet you,’ conversation starters vs.
conversation killers, determining your best prospects, and more (links to all
past Impact Tips).
In order for business
networking to have an impact on our businesses, we need to make sure of a few
things.
